Halloween Flash Fiction Contest
We are about to enter week 4 of the Halloween Flash Fiction Contest and so far it has been a Spootacular Success!
We have had 75 wonderful stories entered by about 60 different writers.
Our finalists so far are....
Week 1: Hotspot by Rob Holliday
Week 2: Billy Carver by Jason Mueller & Christy Lynn Foster
Week 3: Give me Something Good to Eat by Pamela K Kinney
Submissions for week 4 open on Friday October 19th at 9AM (CDT).
The winner for week 4 will go on to compete for the grand prize which includes over 20 books that are e-books, paperbacks and hardcovers. As well as a $50.00 Amazon gift card and a 15% off coupon for an editing package.
On October 25th I will give the four finalists a prompt. They will be required to write a new story that incorporates that prompt. They will have until Monday, October 29th at 9AM to submit their stories. Those 4 stories will be voted on. This will not be a public vote. Only writers who have submitted a story will be eligible to vote. This is, afterall, a writer's contest. Voting opens Monday at 9AM and closes on Halloween at 9AM.
Complete details about the contest can be found at the event.
Halloween Flash Fiction Contest
Message me your Halloween themed story of 1500 words or less. Good luck to all of you and I look forward to reading your stories!
Lykaia began as a Flash Fiction story last October. In fact the prologue is that Flash Fiction piece. So in honor of Lykaia's release I began this contest as a way to celebrate that, and to have a little fun. I hope you will drop by the contest and read some great stories. And if you are looking for a paranormal thriller based in myth and played out in a mystery, please have a look at Lykaia, Book One of the Sophia Katsaros series.
